Who knew?? I live in an old farm house with cast iron sewer pipes that started giving me problems. I had vaguely heard about pipe lining but didn’t know much about it. I called Prestige Pipe Lining and they immediately dispatched a crew. I got an education on all things pipe lining and  the crew went to work scoping the line to provide me options. While scoping from the clean-out to the house, the crew showed me the camera screen. My lines were in rough shape but lining was still a great no dig option. They sent the camera toward the street. Things were looking good. Then, I heard “oh no”. I was called over closer, even though I was watching the camera from a few feet away. To the dismay of the crew and myself, there was over 2 feet of missing cast iron. It would be impossible to line with the cast iron pipe totally disintegrated. Here’s what this company is 5 Star: Thomas, the owner, who works as hard as anyone else on the crew, started giving me options, not a sales pitch. He was so brutally honest, even to the point of not closing a sale. He suggested that I contact the seller of the home for a remedy, since these problems presented on our second night. I took his council and the end result was the seller stepped up even though he didn’t have to. NC is a buyer beware state. This lengthy review is to underscore the importance of working with true professionals who actually care about their customers. I was desperate and willing to get my issue fixed on the spot. Thomas was interested in what was best for me in the long run. He chose to forgo a sale knowing I might save thousands if I was patient. Who does that these days? We were  so stressed in trying to figure out what we were going to do for our plumbing issues. We had a few estimates and the folks from Prestige Pipe Lining checked all the boxes! They answered our questions along the way and left the job site clean. It doesn't seem like you get this type of quality and service these days so it's refreshing when a company does exactly what the say they will. Prestige Pipe Lining lined our main cast iron pipe. They were the only company to show up on time and follow up with us in a timely manner. Thomas and his team were in and out and did not disrupt our lives during the process. If you are in need of a pipe repair, I would recommend pipe lining over a massive digging project.
